This Season
For the last three years I have competed in the National Superstock Championship on a Yamaha 1000cc R1, which is held in conjunction with and in support of the British Superbike Championship.
The series is fast-paced, exciting and a competitive national championship. My results have shown a natural development as the season progressed. I have scored championship points in most of my races, thus building on my confidence.
For this season I have purchased an YZF-R6 for 2008 to do the National Junior Superstock Championship where the machines are all 600cc. The Championship is less expensive than Superstock but no way less exciting and will be a proving ground for nurturing young talent as competitors will be from 16 to 25 year olds.
